N.J. Dems blast Christie for threatening to veto same sex marriage bill

New Jersey Senate Democrats ripped Gov. Chris Christie on Tuesday after he promised to veto a bill that would legalize same sex marriage.
Christie said a proposed constitutional amendment should be drafted and the issue should be put to a statewide vote.
“We do not put civil rights questions on the ballot,” New Jersey Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg exclaimed at a press conference.
